COUNSELLING AND PYSCHOTHERAPY
I am a qualified and experienced integrative psychotherapist. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds on a wide range of issues in a relational and professional way. I offer long term psychotherapy and short term counselling.
Due to the challenges of COVID-19, I am predominantly working with clients online, but current guidelines permitting, if you feel more comfortable meeting face to face, we can discuss these options together.
Long term psychotherapy allows for more space to explore how patterns of self beliefs acquired in the past may be underpinning current difficulties and help to bring about positive change. This is most suited to people who, for example have or are experiencing ongoing problems in establishing relationships, have had abusive childhood or adult experiences or have experienced loss.
Short term psychotherapy is aimed at addressing a particular issue arising in the present and getting in the way of your daily life. For example this can be very effective in helping to make important decisions by exploring your issue in a safe confidential space, to bring some clarity to your thoughts and help to plan a way forward.
